Hana Mamot Bio
My name is Hana Mamot. I am from Saint Libory, Nebraska and I just graduated high
school from Palmer Public Schools on May 9, 2026. I love reading, crocheting, and
hanging out with my close friends and family. I am a determined individual who uses my
trauma to fuel my fire. I love looking at spreadsheets and figuring out how I can spend
less money to invest more.
Reaction Statement
“When I first got the email that I received the 2026 Lessons in Resilience scholarship, I
was surprised. I had already graduated and I figured I wasn’t getting any more
scholarships. I was writing thank you’s for my graduation and it just made me ecstatic. I
felt so loved by all those who showed up to my party and now people were believing in
my future. I feel so blessed to have all these individuals who believe in me and make
me feel more confident in my future. I am so grateful to have obtained this scholarship
to help me in my future endeavors at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in Accounting.”
